Call it a cliche, call it basic, but there is nothing better than enjoying a good book or conversation over a freshly made latte with a friend. One of my favorite places to go either fall or winter is MON AMI in downtown Vancouver.
(The strawberry with vanilla cream cheese filling is to die for)
This cafe is the epitome of cute and is one of the few places I have found to enjoy an assortment of fresh crepes. Filled with local artwork, quirky table toppers and an assortment of jazz or top his (depending on who working) flowing over the speakers. The wait staff is always friendly and its quiet enough enjoy a book between sweet sips or trade gossip with your girls.
